Classic Rhubarb Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 double pie crust

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the rhubarb, sugar, and flour until the rhubarb is coated evenly.
  3. Line a 9-inch pie dish with one of the pie crusts.
  4. Pour the rhubarb mixture into the pie crust and dot with butter.
  5. Cover the filling with the second pie crust, seal the edges, and cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  6. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
